Feiga grew up in Vilna, Poland and faced great adversity during the war. During the German invasion, she was forced into a labor camp. During that bitter time, she worked to keep up her spirits by thinking that if others could survive, she could, too. She met and married her husband Felix in Bergen-Belsen after the war. Their marriage was sponsored by none other than the Chief Rabbi of Britain! Eventually, the couple immigrated to the United States and have been married for 67 years.
