Rabbi Avremi and Shaindy Schapiro

Rabbi Avremi Schapiro is a graduate of the Rabbinical College of America. Since moving to Milwaukee in 2006, he has been working as the Executive Director of the Youth Division for Lubavitch of Wisconsin. Some additional programs under his direction include 15 years at the Director of Camp Gan Israel Milwaukee and Mitzvah Corps.
Rabbi Avremi's enthusiasm for creating new and fun ways to reach out to all Jews, are just part of what makes him a great director for CTeen!
Shaindy Schapiro has been serving as a shlucha at Lubavitch of Wisconsin alongside her husband Rabbi Avremi since their move here in 2006. Teaching and working with children of all ages has been a passion of hers since high school. Shaindy’s knowledge, experience, and devotion to today’s children make her a great partner in running CTeen!!
When Rabbi Avremi and Shaindy are not busy planning and running CTeen and Camp Gan Israel, you can find them spending time with their children, hosting guests for Shabbat and holidays at their home, and interacting with other Milwaukee Jewish organizations.
